How To Build A Weekly Review That Takes Ten Minutes

A weekly review does not need to become a productivity ceremony. Ten honest minutes can catch most problems before Monday begins.

Check deadlines first

Look at the next two weeks. Deadlines, meetings, renewals, travel, and promised follow-ups matter more than reorganizing a task database.

Name the two or three areas that could cause trouble if ignored. These become the priority checks for the week.

Delete or defer tasks that no longer matter. A review should make the system lighter, not more intimidating.
